Situated in the heart of Meknes (one of the ancient
Imperial Cities of Morocco), "Savor Morocco" invites you to join us and learn how to make some of the most delicious food in all of Africa. You will create a masterpiece of Moroccan cuisine in the confines of a traditional Moroccan riad. At our cooking school, not only will you create your meal, but you will then eat it in a traditional Moroccan salon as you learn about Moroccan culture. This memorable opportunity promises both a culinary and cultural experience for all who partake.
We firmly believe that the best way to learn a new dish is to practice making it with your own hands, not just listening to a set of instructions. At "Savor Morocco" we pride ourselves on giving you the opportunity to step up to your own personal cooking station to prepare your dishes. Not only will you produce an amazing meal, but you will also learn the history and tradition behind each one. Whatever your cooking knowledge is, our classes remain small so that you can receive as much individual attention as you desire.
For every dish you prepare, you will learn about each of the ingredients as well as some of the unique spices found only in Morocco. 
In order to provide you with the most succulent of meals, we hand-pick all of our produce and meat from the local market. This ensures that you will enjoy the freshest of feasts. The owner and founder of "Savor Morocco", Chris Padgett, has over 15 years of food- & customer-service experience. From management in restaurants to starting and operating his own catering business to serving as a personal chef, he knows what it takes to create the perfect event. "Seeing people experience something for the first time is always extremely rewarding. I believe that when someone first steps up to their cooking station a little hesitant, then leaves the school completely satisfied and confident with what they have prepared; that's a ‘good day's work' to me."
